Welcome: Documenting my Projects, Experiences and Career Path

Hi there! I am a newly emerging communications professional who is navigating post-graduate life after studying at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. The determining factor that grounds my experiences always goes back to storytelling and developing new and exciting ways to present meaningful stories to diverse audiences. This is what binds all of the various roles I've taken on and pathways that I've wandered.

The Goal

Through this blog I aim to divulge more context regarding projects that have impassioned me. Additionally, this is a superb opportunity to reflect on my experiences through the beginning of my career. Others have continually posed the age-old question while I was navigating childhood, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I suppose this blog is in turn an attempt to answer that daunting question and share my findings with those who care to follow along.

As of typing this, I am 6 months into a professional internship at Disneyland Resort in which I work on the External Communications team. The position and the opportunities it has provided me have been indescribable and have inspired me immensely. The role has further cemented that communications and affiliate sectors is where my heart lies and where my skills can grow and best apply. I will be sure to divulge more in posts to come and I appreciate whoever follows along on the journey!
